well the day started off helping a man from michigan.
then weighed in 101.6 always light... tisk tisk..
did my warm ups for squat a little too early so i waited a little bit for my last one, ended with a 440 warm up in wraps, went out to the plat form 1st attempt 474, failed lift because i dropped to fast and shot back ward. nailed my 2nd attempt with 215, and then nailed 232.5,, bench was feeling sluggish today, did my warm ups up to 265 raw chest, then did 308 to 2 boards then 1 boards in one set, then went on to 325 to the chest for last warm up, felt nice and easy. went and opened 341, wasnt my day for bench but i got it, and went on to 2nd attempts and got 352, happy with that but it was a grinder, so i went 358 and missed it but it went for a ride! deadlifts came and did my warm ups up to 405x1 raw then 475x1 straps up. went out to platform and opened 518, completely dummied it, went to 539, and completely destroyed it!, wasn't planning on going 562 but decided to do it anyway, so i did and i picked it up and locked it. all in all felt like a good day, was a bit dissappointed because i came second in the squat, the guy did 551, and i did 512 he was in a suit and i was in wraps, lucky son of a bitch i wasn't in my suit!! oh well train to get it next time, for my training partners jp had a wierd day. squats went well ended off with 661, only got the opener bench with 555, didnt have too many warm ups, went on to deadlifts and did 705 but before doing this he had cramps in his hand, and while pulling his last deadlift he tore his bicep, (so we think) but we hope not. justin had a good day squatting 474, benching 263, and deadlifted 535 (open canadian deadlift record) (unofficial) and then came tilly,(gym joke) he opened with 363, then went to 374, those too werent too bad, but he jumped up to 402 missed it completely kind of odd since he did 430 in the gym, oh well thats why were here, next competition highschool provincials, hopes of 500-300-550 (raw) then nationals hope of 660-405-600 doable with new equipment and some adjustments!!
